It’s been quite a while since Mariah Carey has graced us with her powerhouse voice, but the star still wants to shine in the style stakes.

The 42-year-old songstress was spotted leaving her London hotel last night at 2am after attending Prince Azim of Brunei’s birthday bash wearing a floor length metallic tight fitting dress.

Mariah had been flown privately by the prince so she could be at his birthday party, so she went all out with her glam attire – and the sexy gown was sure to make the most of her every curve and live up to her standards as a high-maintenance diva.

The Hero singer teamed the futuristic frock with a pair of strappy gold sandals and wore her long blonde locks in flowing curls. That’s high maintenance for ya!

Mariah has been teasing fans with information on a future possible album of late, tweeting last month: ”So…Summer 2012..Been in the lab, mixing up some concoctions for you, hope you like it!! #MCSummer2012.”
